In November 2005 at the tender age of 24, Lena Hoschek set up her own label in a cosy little atelier at the centre of the Old Town of Graz. Ever since, her name has been synonymous with a nostalgic return to traditional tailoring, classic designs and the ultra-feminine hourglass silhouette, without ever being conventional. A self-proclaimed “truffle pig” as far as fabrics are concerned, Hoschek is always on the look out for sumptuous textiles with a story to tell – a passion she has nurtured ever since she was a little girl. Opulent patterns, exquisite materials and meticulous attention to detail characterise her collections while at the same time epitomising her ethos, which is to value each item of clothing as something timeless and lasting. All Lena Hoschek pieces are lovingly produced with painstaking care at small clothing factories based in Europe.
